A Winter To Remember - Characters

 This novel uses the characters of two novels by Roisn Meaney which I have not read yet.

SPOILERS!!!

- Emily (32) owns a restaurant and is in a relationship with Bill. She and Bill have been taking care of Pip, Bill's grandson.

- Bill Geraghty (51) is Emily's partner and Christine's father. He and Emily break up for a while when he tells her that he doesn't want to have more children.

- Christine is Bill's daughter. When her mother died, she went off the rails and got into drugs. She got pregnant, and did a runner when she gave birth. Now she is clean and returns, and she gets her son back. 

- Heather Taylor is Emily's friend. She is American and a ball of energy. Heather is mother to two girls and stepmother of three children. Heather is having doubts about her relationship with Shane, but she eventually realises that he is the man she loves.

- Lil Noonan is Emily's new tenant. Lil lost her parents and sister in a car accident. She is the new library assistant. 

- Tom is Lil's fiancée, and they eventually marry.

- Shane (40) is Heather's partner. He is a paramedic, and he has two sons and a daughter by his first marriage, and a baby girl by Heather. 

- Pip Geraghty is Bill's grandson and when she was born, his mother left him as she was into drugs.

- Daniel (29) is Emily's brother. He is in a relationship with Nora, and they lose the child she was expecting.

- Nora (20) is Daniel's partner and Shane's eldest daughter. She loses the child she was expecting.

- Astrid Carmody (95) is the old woman who dies and leaves her cottage to Pip. 

- Dolores and Patrick are Emily's parents who live in Portugal.
