The Man Who Died Twice - Facts

The characters live in a fictitious town, but there are other places which they visit.

Joyce and Elizabeth travel to Antwerp to find out about the diamonds. Antwerp is a city and a municipality in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is the capital and largest city of Antwerp Province.

The safe house where Douglas and Poppy are killed is in Hove. Hove is a seaside resort in East Sussex, England. Alongside Brighton, it is one of the two main parts of the city of Brighton and Hove.

Hambledon is where Lomax has his home. Hambledon is a small village and civil parish in the county of Hampshire.

Douglas mentions that a tree near the home would be a good dead-letter drop, which is what he uses to leave a letter to Elizabeth. A dead drop or dead letter box is a method of espionage tradecraft used to pass items or information between two individuals using a secret location. By avoiding direct meetings, individuals can maintain operational security.
