Kirsty goes to the beach for a walk and reminisces how she got her job on the boat and how she met Jon. It is obvious that she would have liked to continue working there, but Jon, who was seasick all the time he was working on the boat, decided to leave and persuaded her to come with him and star in his pantomime.
On the beach Kirsty meets Ben and Thea. He usually comes to this beach because it is the place his wife loved, and he realises that a woman is sitting on the rock where his wife sat. It is Kirsty, and his mother's dog runs towards Kirsty and places its paws on Kirsty's clean trousers. Ben apologises and gives her his card, saying that he will pay for a new pair of trousers.
I can imagine that Ben and Kirsty will strike a friendship, and I hope that Kirsty leaves Jon, who obviously is not the person Kirsty deserves.
