RATING: GOOD
SPOILERS!!!
The next day after the visit of young Openshaw, Holmes and Watson are dismayed to read in the newspaper that the young man has been found dead in the river. The article says that his body was fished out of the river, and it is believed that Openshaw must have fallen from the bridge accidentally. Holmes knows better and is certain that he was killed.
That day Holmes goes out to investigate, and that evening he tells Watson that he has discovered that the men who are behind the deaths travel on a ship called Lone Star, and this ship has already left for Savannah. So he tells Jackson that he will send a letter to the captain inside which there will be five orange pits, and then he will send another letter to the police there, accusing the men of murder. The men, though, are never judged because the ship is destroyed in a gale and the men die.
Another interesting story.
