We discover parts of the puzzle gradually. François Loubet is the man behind the murders. There are three influencers who have been killed. He used these people to smuggle money to different places. This was the idea of someone called Joe Blow, who is supposed to be working for the company Amy works for. Both names Loubet adn Joe Blow are not real, and they have never met. It seems that the reason he got them killed was as retaliation against Jeff because of a series of emails he wrote to him. Now the next victim is going to be Amy, and he calls his murder-broker, Rob Kenna.
Amy is concerned to discover that Fairfield is dead, and she tells Rosie that the three bodies have been found in the vicinity where she has been. It seems that someone wants to link her to these murders. Rosie tells her who she can trust for help, and she realises that she can only trust Steve. Then Amy finds herself in a pickle when Kevin, the former navy SEAL working for Rosie, appears with a gun, intending to kill her. He takes her to the panic room in the house, and then Rosie hits him in the head with an Oscar statuette, and they lock the man in the room.
Rosie insists Amy take her with her, and the latter agrees reluctantly. They need to talk to the local police, but when they go to the sheriff's house, they find him dead. Then Amy calls Steve because she needs him in America, but Steve does not want to go, but when she tells him that someone wants her dead, she agrees. He also says that Jeff came to see him, and they agreed to talk at a campsite, but then he found the car abandoned and full of blood.
Steve travels in Rosie's private plane. I really love Steve. He is so honest in his ways and so open to everybody. Wherever he goes, he makes friends. When he has to go through customs, he knows he needs to see the CCTV of the airport to find information about Fairbanks. The customs officer is a hard nut to crack, but thanks to Steve's quirky personality and his taste for Van Halen, Carlos, the officer, agrees to let him see the footage.
Meanwhile, Rob Kenna has contacted a friend to kill Amy, whose name is Eddie Flood. So he is now in America looking for Amy.
There is a character who also wants to becomes a famous influencer. It is Bonnie and she plans to go to the agency run by Felicity, which is the place that links all the people who have been murdered.
