SPOILERS!!!
After the shock of discovering that Luke Ryder was an imposter, Bill Serafini has discovered that the his real name was Eric Dwight Fulton from Alabama. His next mission is to find out more about Fulton, so he travels to Alabama. From talking to some of the locals, Bill discovers that Fulton was the youngest of three brothers, and his parents are dead. His former teacher says that he was bullied, and he ended up in New York, and the teacher says that he admitted that he was gay. What Bill and the others realise that Fulton is not the person who claimed to be Ryder. That means that the man stole the identity of two men. Bill thinks that Fulton must be dead, and that is why his identity was taken. He gets confirmation that there was some unidentified male who was killed in a hatred attack.
There are other leads the experts follow. When Caroline first came to London, she shared a flat with a student, and she kept the friendship over the years. Now Shirley, her former flatmate, claims that Caroline's children hated Luke, especially Amelie. She says that on Caroline's wedding day Guy destroyed the cake out of rage, and the girls were also a handfull. Maura started hanging out with the wrong crowd, and there were rumours of drugs. And Amelie was expelled from her school after some incident.
The team think that money is always a powerful motive. When Luke came to England, he contacted his grandmother, who lived in a care home, and the lady was enchanted and named him his heir. After his death, the old lady left some jewels to one of the nurses of the care home, but the bulk of her money went to Margaret Wilson, a cousin of her husband, and when Margaret died, her son Ian inherited. Ian is now living abroad, and they find that he left three days after Luke's death. So now they are trying to find him.
The investigation throws us more and more surprises. I am dying to find out who the victim was and who killed him.
