SPOILERS!!!
We now have the perspective of Polly, who is flying to Sydney to attend her mother's funeral. She remembers when she was a child and wanted to know who her father was. Nora's explanation was that it was just her and she had found her in the dahlia yard. That explanation hadn't been enough as the children at school laughed at Polly. Then Polly had heard some friends of her mother's mention Nora's marriage. Nora still wouldn't talk about it, and Polly longed to know the man who had fathered her. When she was at university, she managed to locate him. Richard had remarried and had two children. When Polly met him, he said that Nora had told him that Polly wasn't his. They did a test, which proved that Polly indeed wasn't Richard's. Richard was sad and bewildered because he said that he couldn't know how that could be true. Nora had been prescribed rest, and the only people who visited her were him, Mrs Robinson and the doctor.
This new fact makes me believe that Polly is Thea. But then what happened to the baby that Nora had? Did she die and Nora buried her? That means that Nora poisoned the others and stole the baby? But why? Did she fake the pregnancy?
