The Curfew 3 - The End (Pages 303 - end)

RATING: GOOD

There is a twist when Andy confronts his brother Rob when Laura and Harry discover that one of the trolls that post abuse about Cathy.

Rob tells him that Cathy started a campaign that used to her advantage when she claimed that she had cancer. There are rumours about her inventing that to give herself publicity, and that is something that he and Zac find despicable. It was Zac who posted those cruel comments. Then when Andy confronts Rob, asking him whether Zacc planted the drug in Connor's room, he says that Za lost the drugs when he slept in Connor's room. He tried to find them, but he couldn't.

Then Andy gets a call from the police, informing him that Connor has come to the station to confess that he killed Emily. Rob and Laura go there, and even though the boy won't see them, they finally get to talk to him. Connor tells the police that it was an accident. He hit Emilyby mistake and when she remained still, he panicked.

When Laura and Andy get home, Harriet is nowhere to be found. She had sent texts, telling him to call her but when her parents did not reply, she texted that she would go to see her uncle Rob. Andy rushes to her brother's but he is not there. Then he goes to the forest where Emily went missing, and he finds an abandoned cottage, and he finds Emily in a budle.

Harriet appears and Andy is confronted by Alexander Saxton, and the truth comes out. That Sunday Drew followed Emily and started to kiss her, and at some point she collapsed. The truth is that Zac had spiked Emily's drink. Drew panicked and called his father, and at first they thought that she was dead. They took him home, and Emily was not dead, but she was kept in his basement. Alexander knew that Emily had to die, and that is why he left her in the cottage. Rob appears when Alexander threatens to killAndy, and the man is stopped.

When Andy checks Emily, she opens her eyes. Later Harriet explains that she disccovered that Alexander had something to hide by comparing some photographs of his posh home. In all the reports he had posted online, the door to the basement was closed, but recently when he sent an appeal for Emily, the door was closed. That made her suspect, and she then hacked into his digital watch and the data showed harsh physical activity that Sunday. Alexander not only kept Emily captive, but also left her phone in the Boyds' bin to incriminate Connor, and then he forced him to confess or he would kill his family.

Three months later we learn that Andy and Rob are still working on getting back to the way they were. Zac and Connor are studying in a different sixth-form college, and Emly had to repeat her GCSEs, but now there is no relationship between them.
