Hannah is allowed to go with just a warning. During these hours in police custody, Dorothy couldn't contact Jenny. The thing is that Jenny had met Craig, and they had drunk too much. When he walked her to the house, they kissed, but they stopped, realising that they were not themselves.
Jenny appears drunk when Dorothy brings Hannah home. Then Dorothy gets a call from Thomas. They have found Mel dead. The next day they meet Thomas who tells them that Mel was strangled, and there was something else. She was pregnant.
Hannah is very upset and is determined to find the second mobile Mel had, so she searches Mel's room thoroughly. She doesn't find anything, but what she finds is a receipt for that mobile. So she goes to the shop, and the assitant is helpful. Mel paid for the mobile herself, and the assistant seems to remember that she came with a guy, but he doesn't remember as it was two months ago. And what she gets is the number for that phone.
Jenny drives to the house where Peter Longhorn lives, and she sees him come to the house and knock and ring the bell several times but the door doesn't open. Then he shouts his wife's name, and the woman throws a holdall and tells him that she is just protecting their daughter. Jenny approaches, and Peter is understandably angry. The police has questioned him. Peter tells Jenny that he did have something with Mel, but he didn't kill her or knew she was pregnant. Peter goes, swearing that he is going to sue Hannah for stealing the photos and getting him in trouble and the university because he has been suspended.
Jenny keeps following Liam, and they are back in the pub. She sees a very attractive woman, trying to chat him up, but he is evidently uninterested. When he goes, Jenny approaches the woman, Darcy, who is an escort. The woman tells her that she had been hired to try to seduce Liam. Someone called the agency, someone very angry and sounding Irish. It seems that the woman calling was Orla, and I imagine that she is trying to bring evidence against her husband. But why?
