The hotel does not receive the glowing reviews that the owner expects for certain circumstances. One bad review comes from a group of fifty-year-old women who complain about Zeke. They flirted with him and wanted physical intimacy with him, and Zeke skilfully turns them down. Then Grace, the ghost, who is annoyed with the three women does some of her tricks.
The second bad review comes from a woman who complains about waiting too much to be checked in and for her suitcases to be broght to her room. The thing is that when that happened, little Wanda had wandered off her room, and Lisbet and Raoul, the bellman, were looking for her everywhere in the hotel, and they couldn't attend to the guest as they should.
Lisbeth has finally hired a night receptionist, Richard Decameron, who has recently divorced and has three children. Grace feels that he has darkness in him. Then when he see him next, the police have given him a warning for spending the night in his car on the beach. This means that Richie has no fixed abode.
Stephanie Powell is really malicious. She and Michael have been having an affair after they met on the boat. Michael lied and told her that he and Heidi were separating, but Stephanie knew that was not true. Stephanie really hoped that he would decide to leave his wife. Yet, the day before Heidi returned, he told her that she had to leave, and Stephanie threatened him to tell Heidi unless he compensated her. So he gave her 50,000 dollars, and now she is going to share a flat with the two bellmen. Yet, she has left some of her objects for Heidi to find. And Heidi finds Stephanie's eyeshadow, and she talks to her neighbour, worried that Michael is having an affair.
