SPOILERS!!!
Gabriel get to meet Juan Martín el Empecinado, whose name come from the river that flows near his hometown. When Gabriel first sees him, he is dictating a letter to his scrivener about the victory in Calatayud. This scene is funny when El Empecinado tries to correct the scrivener with incorrect words and punctuation, showing that the man is uncultivated. It seems that in the unit there are too many men who want to impose their opinion.
