Cormoran and Robin are not closer to discovering who Anomie is. Robin has interviewed Tim, who was also the voice of one character, under the guise of a journalist. Tim is now part of a company who performs in schools. In the conversation Tim seems not to have held a grudge against Edie, but somehow Robin feels he is not totally honest.
During the game Robin, passing herself off as Beth, does not discover much either. What she knows is that Paperwhite is in love with Morehouse and she is upset because he has not been online lately, and she feels that it was because of something she said.
There is an event for comics and cartoon, and Anomie wants to have as many people from the fandom as possible. During some chats we discover in a conversation between Anomie and Morehouse that the former wants to get rid of LordDrek and Vilepechora just as Morehouse wanted. Morehouse finally talks to Paperwhite, and he admits that he was upset when Paperwhite asked him if he was disabled because he is. Paperwhite says that she knows who he is and their problem has been that he has refused to let her know him, and in the end they say they love each other. In another conversation Morehouse talks to Fiendy1, who is a sixteen-year-old girl, and he is angry with her because she was the one who from a comment she made let Paperwhite that he was disabled.
I am curious about the identity of these people. Is Morehouse Inigo, Josh's agent's husband? He is the only one who is in a wheelchair, but Inigo sounded horrible to his family, high-maintenance and picky. And who is Paperwhite, who is red-haired and lives in Yorkshire?
Robin and Cormoran go to the comic convention. He is dressed in a Darth Vader costume, and Robin goes as the journalist because she is going to interview Yasmin/Hartella, as she is to publish a book about the fandom. Robin interviews her and she can tell that the woman is not totally honest with her. Yasmine gets upset when Robin keeps asking her about the neo-Nazi group.
After the interview, she joins Cormoran, who tells her that he is suspicious of a man who is wearing trainers with red soles. Cormoran ditches his costume and they follow the man to the station. There are quite a lot of people, and then someone dresses as Spiderman comes forward and pushes the man onto the railway. Instinctively Robin jumps on the track and another man and they try to get the man out of the way because a train is approaching. Cormoran rushes to drag Robin to the platform. Finally, they manage to get out of the way. The man is unconscious and he has a Y tattooed on his chest. The police question them and they tell them about the intentional push but the man who did the deed is nowhere to be found.
In a private chat LordDrek threatens Anomie because the man who was pushed onto the track was his brother, Vilepechora, and Anomie admits he was the one who pushed him, and LordDrek swears he will find him and kill him.
